We will use Photostory, a grassroots video program, so you will be asked to seek out and upload images and audio that augment the excerpts. Browse through our course materials to determine which theme spoke the most strongly to you or which theme inspired or challenged you. In our class, you will select excerpts from at least two of your essays to compose a portfolio explaining one common theme that emerged from your work this semester. S/he answers questions like, "What are my skills in the field?" or "What is my best work?" or "What piece excited me but needs further revision?" The compiler selects salient or compelling examples of their skills. Portfolios allow students reflection on the work of a semester, a project, or a lifetime.
